9:00am - 1:00pm
Iron Maehara Baseball Stadium
Clinic is for youth ages 8-12 years old & limited to the first 150 registrations.
Since its inception in 2012, All PONO partners with the Kurt Suzuki Family Foundation to host the Kurt Suzuki All PONO Baseball Clinic. Kurt is a professional Major League Baseball (MLB) catcher for the Atlanta Braves—who previously played for the Washington Nationals, Oakland Athletics, and Minnesota Twins. Prior to his professional career, Kurt attended Cal State Fullerton, and H.P. Baldwin High School—where he was coached by All PONO Founder, Jon Viela.
Every January, 150 youth baseball players from 8-12 years old are given the opportunity to attend this free clinic, held at the Iron Maehara Baseball Stadium on the island of Maui. Kurt oversees the training with assistance from former Baldwin High School teammates and other PONO Baseball Coaches, where hard work, dedication, and All PONO values such as team work are instilled throughout the four-hour session.
Player participation is determined on a first-come, first-served basis, where the 150-player slots are usually filled within 24-48 hours.
